美國金融工程碩士好就業(yè)嗎?據(jù)托普仕老師了解，金融工程專業(yè)畢業(yè)的學(xué)生還是非常的不錯的，很多我們所知道的匯豐銀行，中國銀行，高盛，摩根，德意志銀行，法興銀行等等都是金融工程碩士的聚集地。所以畢業(yè)后根本是不愁就業(yè)的。下面隨著老師詳細了解一下吧。
根據(jù)近幾年來國際畢業(yè)生在美國就業(yè)的整體形勢來看，美國Quant(這里Quant不止是Quant research, 還包括Quant trading,之類各種對數(shù)學(xué)、統(tǒng)計、計算機要求比較高的職位)類機會比較多，而S&T工作機會比較多的是香港。
另外，risk management的需求也很大, 在金融危機后，各大投行，金融業(yè)公司都加大了對于risk management職位的需求 ，常見的risk management職位有market risk, model risk, credit risk等，這些相關(guān)職位也十分青睞中國留學(xué)生
此外，還有一些留學(xué)生選擇進入rating firm,比如說Fitch rating, S&P and Moody’s。
說回大陸，由于大陸金工行業(yè)起步較晚，市場并不是非常成熟，所以受到政策方面的影響比較大，但也因此有很多的潛力和機遇。
就目前的就業(yè)狀況來看，金工在中國的就業(yè)主要圍繞以下幾個領(lǐng)域：
1、賣方(投行+一些商業(yè)銀行)-Support front desk trader
Develop tools to pricing complex instruments and transactions rapidly and accurately while managing risk
- Product development
Design exotic options, hybrid securities and collateralized obligations, and do pricing
- Consulting and Customer Support
On the sell side investment banks and other financial institutions provide research reports and other forms of analytical support to their customers
- Investment Banking Division (IBD) –亞太居多
Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Equity Capital Markets , Debt Capital Markets , Restructuring
