美國“常春藤院?！?，可簡稱為“藤校”，是美國本科申請過程中關(guān)注度最高的一批院校。申請難度大，錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)高，絕非普娃可以觸及。在申請“藤?！钡倪^程中，不少學(xué)生都經(jīng)歷過面試（Interview）。下面是托普仕留學(xué)老師匯總的美國藤校本科申請面試要求，一起來看看吧！
一、普林斯頓大學(xué)(Princeton University)
1.“Princeton offers optional alumni interviews.”普林斯頓提供的是選擇性的校友面試。
2.“Interviews take place after the Admission Office has received your application.”面試會(huì)在招生委員會(huì)收到你的申請材料后安排。
3.“You may choose to opt out of the interview in the Princeton Supplement, and this choice will not put you at any disadvantage in the admission process.”你可以選擇不參加面試，這個(gè)選擇并不會(huì)影響你的申請。
4.“The interviews are 30-45 minute informal conversations.”面試是30-45分鐘的非正式的交流。
5.“We cannot guarantee that every applicant will receive an interview. This will depend on the availability of alumni in your area. If you do not receive an interview for any reason, it will not put you at a disadvantage since the interview is optional.”我們無法保證每個(gè)申請人都能被面試。這取決于我們面試官的資源。如果你沒有收到面試邀請，你的申請不會(huì)受到影響，因?yàn)槊嬖嚤緛砭褪沁x擇性的。
二、哈佛大學(xué)(Harvard University)
1.“When possible, we try to arrange for you to meet with alumni/ae in or near your school communities. You will not be at a disadvantage if an interview cannot be arranged.”可能的話，我們會(huì)盡可能安排校友面試。如果沒有面試的話，你也不會(huì)因此受到不利影響。
2.“Our interviewers abroad are graduates of Harvard who offer their assistance on a volunteer basis. 三、耶魯大學(xué)(Yale University)
1.“All Yale interviews, both those with alumni and those with current Yale seniors”所有耶魯大學(xué)的面試均由校友或大四學(xué)生提供。(哪里有招生官??)
2.“Interviews are evaluative. Admissions officers read interview reports alongside application materials.”面試是有評估性質(zhì)的。招生官會(huì)把面試報(bào)告和其它申請材料一并審核。
3.“Prospective students may not request an interview; alumni and student interviewers contact applicants after their admissions materials are submitted.”學(xué)生不能主動(dòng)要求面試。校友或大四學(xué)生將在學(xué)生申請材料提交后主動(dòng)聯(lián)系學(xué)生安排面試。
4.“Admissions prioritizes interviews for students for whom the Admissions Committee needs more information. Students who do not receive an interview invitation will not be disadvantaged.”招生委員會(huì)將優(yōu)先選擇為那些需要了解更多信息的學(xué)生安排校友/大四學(xué)生面試。沒有收到面試邀請的學(xué)生不會(huì)因此處于不利地位。
5.“Interviews are not required, and many successful applicants are not interviewed.”面試非必須。很多被成功錄取的學(xué)生并沒有經(jīng)過面試。
四、賓夕法尼亞大學(xué) (University of Pennsylvania)
1.“Each year Penn attempts to connect as many applicants as possible with alumni, depending on volunteer availability.”賓大每年都盡力給盡可能多的申請人提供校友面試。這個(gè)過程主要取決于是否有足夠的校友資源。(哪有招生官什么事兒??)
2.“It is our policy that applicants cannot request a conversation with an alum. ”申請人不能主動(dòng)要求校友面試。
3.“your application will not be viewed negatively if you aren’t offered a conversation with an alum.”如果沒有校友面試的話，申請并不會(huì)處于不利的地位。
4.“Our alumni aren’t admissions officers, and they will not see any part of your application.”校友不是招生官。他們也看不到任何你的申請材料(除了名字和聯(lián)系方式)。
5.Student Applications are not pre-screened or sorted. Applicants are matched solely on availability of our alumni volunteers.學(xué)生的申請材料并不會(huì)提前篩選區(qū)分。能否有面試機(jī)會(huì)完全取決于是否有足夠的校友資源可以提供面試。
五、布朗大學(xué)(Brown University)
1.“While Brown has previously considered alumni interviews, they have not been offered since the 2019-20 academic year and will no longer be available moving forward.”布朗大學(xué)曾經(jīng)考慮過校友面試，但是自2019-2020申請季就停止了，今后也不會(huì)再提供了。
2.“As an alternative means of sharing more about yourself beyond the information you provided in your application, we recommend submitting a two-minute video introduction.”我們推薦學(xué)生提交一個(gè)2分鐘的視頻介紹。
3.“Submitting a video introduction can offer another opportunity to tell us who you are and why you are interested in attending Brown.”提交視頻介紹可以讓我們知道你是誰以及為何你對布朗大學(xué)感興趣。
4.“Videos will not be evaluated for production quality or editing ability; we are simply hoping to get to know you through your own voice.”視頻的剪輯效果和后期制作質(zhì)量并不會(huì)被考慮，我們只想通過你自己的聲音來了解你。
六、康奈爾大學(xué)(Cornell University)
1.“While not evaluative interviews, first-year applicants to any Cornell college or school may request an informational meeting with an alumni admissions ambassador in their local area.”面試不是評估性質(zhì)的。學(xué)生可以主動(dòng)申請與校友面試官進(jìn)行信息交流性質(zhì)的溝通。
2.“This informal conversation with a member of our Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network (CAAAN) is not required, and is offered as an additional way for applicants to learn about Cornell.”這種非正式的溝通并不是必須的，僅僅是為申請人了解康奈爾大學(xué)提供一個(gè)途徑。

八、達(dá)特茅斯學(xué)院(Dartmouth College)
