　　TOEFL: score of 90, with a score of at least 22 in each of the four sections of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. TOEFL scores submitted must not be more than two years old.

　　IELTS: score of 7.0, with at least 6.5 in each of its four sections. IELTS scores submitted must not be more than two years old.

　　Duolingo English Test: score of 110

　　Students with a TOEFL score of less than 100 on the internet-based test, less than 7.0 on the IELTS, or less than 120 in the Duolingo English Test must verify English language proficiency prior to completing registration by sitting for an additional test of English Language Proficiency administered through the English Language Institute. Based on the test results, students may be required by their academic department or the Dietrich School to take a course in English as a second language as part of their graduate program.
