Cornell School of Hotel Administration
The Cornell School of Hotel Administration is the country's oldest college of hospitality management and is rated number one in the world. It offers a bachelor of Science (B.S.), two master's degrees and a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.).
University of Nevada at Las Vegas, Harrah Hotel College
At the Harrah Hotel College students can earn a B.S. in hotel administration. Graduate degrees include a master of science (M.S.), a dual M.S./master of business administration (MBA) and a Ph.D. program. Students get hands-on training in hospitality of the gaming industry with the UNLV's access to Las Vegas and the on-campus casino laboratory of the International Gaming Institute.
Michigan State University School of Hospitality Business
The School of Hospitality Business offers a bachelor of arts and four master's-level graduate programs. Founded in 1927, it is one of the oldest schools in the field and is heavily funded by the Kellogg Foundation.
Pennsylvania State School of Hospitality Management
The School of Hospitality Management grants two associate degrees, a B.S. degree, an M.S. degree and a Ph.D. Students can participate in year-long study abroad programs in China and the Netherlands.
Virginia Polytechnic and State University
The Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management offers a B.S., an M.S. and an MBA with a hospitality concentration. It is a part of the university's Pamplin College of Business. It manages study abroad programs in the Dominican Republic, France, Switzerland and Mexico for all business school students.
Purdue University Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management
The Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. In 2002, its undergraduate hospitality and tourism management program held the number-one ranking in the country.
University of Central Florida
Students at the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management can study for B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees. Located in Orlando, UCF boasts that students can gain practical experience in the world's largest laboratory for hospitality and tourism because of the numerous restaurants, hotels and theme parks in the area.
Kansas State University Hotel and Restaurant Management Program
The Kansas State University's Hotel and Restaurant Management Program offers a B.S. and a Ph.D. Founded in 1922, the school is known for its work in gerontology as it relates to hospitality management and retirement communities.
Northern Arizona University
Northern Arizona University School of Hotel and Restaurant Management grants a B.S. in hotel and restaurant management and a B.S. in international hospitality management. The school reaches off-campus students by offering classes online and at local community colleges.
Washington State University School of Hospitality Business Management
The School of Hospitality Business Management only offers a B.A. but will launch a Ph.D. program in the fall of 2010. The Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research ranked the school 11th in the world for top-level research in 2009.
